Our 3 Week Summer Vacation!

The Girls and I went on a one week Vacation to Silverthorne, CO with my family and then one week on our own to Beautiful Estes Park, CO (Rocky Mountain National Forest), Martin's Cove, and SLC. Davis met up with us and then we spent one week at Aspen Grove with the Rumsey side of our family.

Alexa loved her trip to the Firestation this month! We learned a lot about fire safety and what to do in case of a fire.













Our blueberry picking trip! It was a big success, 45 pounds in 2 hours. We felt so blessed.








Lots of Swimming this summer! It has been a lot of fun watching Alexa improve in her swimming and be able to go across the pool by herself and swim in the deep end with us.































Dad was a super timer this season!





























Family Came often to cheer the girls on! It was fun having them so close by.

































Our Squash actually grew! We've had about 12 squash so far from our plant! Yeah

Our trip to the outdoor play "My son Pinnochio Jr" What a great play, the kids loved it.

Kasidee had a wonderful time helping at "Twilight Camp." A Girl Scout Camp for Brownies. She played Glenda the Good Witch.

Alexa's preschool graduation!


















These were Alexa's special teachers at the high school where she had preschool.




Davis finished our play set this month. Last year he built the fort and this year he built the swing set. The girls just love it!



Alexa dropped over 2 minutes in her back stroke! She can now go across the pool without the lane rope for free style and back stoke. This has been such a treat watching her.


Kasidee doing her breast stroke! She just keeps improving her times especially in the free style. Her free style is so smooth this year and awesome to watch.


My Dad is Retired!! Dad we love you and are so grateful for your example of hard work and dedication. We are so proud of you, thank you!

Davis' Parents 40th Anniversary Party!






















Alexa's very first swim meet and Kasidee's first one for the season! It was so fun watching Alexa try to swim across the "big" pool for the first time. She thought it was so 'cool' to have race numbers written on her arm.

Shannan's birthday! My sweet visiting teachers brought me this delicious chocolate cake. I ate some for lunch and dinner for a week!


Secret Valentines' On our first night we delivered strawberry muffins. Alexa had such a fun time helping this year drop off the goodies and running away. Our favorite line was, "Don't let us seek us!"






Our Family Trip to Baskin Robins- Thanks to the Secret Valentine Family that had us. They secretly left us Baskin Robins Money - Chocolate was the winner!
